Your morning tour of Athens will begin with panoramic views of Panathenian Stadium, the Presidential Residence, the ruins of the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch. Continue on to visit the Acropolis, the ancient architectural masterpiece built during the Golden Age of Athens. Finally, visit the new Acropolis Museum, the striking modern building built at the base of the monument where many of the original statues from the Acropolis are now displayed. Arrive in Ashdod (Jerusalem, Bethlehem) at 7:00 am. Built on a site occupied by the Canaanites as far back as the 17th century BC, modern Ashdod serves the largest port city in Israel and as one of the most important industrial areas in the country. Ashdod is also a perfect jumping-off point for visits to Jerusalem and Bethlehem to see the incredible landmarks of the Holy Land. Easily within a day's travel are the Western (Wailing) Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and King David's Tomb or even Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity. At 8:00 pm sail for Port Said

Return to the ship in Alexandria and sail for Crete at 8:30 pm
